Taxes going to fund law enforcement increase cost of doing business.
Oil refining is not the only business in California. I would bet that it doesn’t contribute to more than 0.01% of GDP.
Solar power will be competitive with natural gas electricity by 2020. Improvements in vehicle MPG will more than offset additional vehicle costs. Savings though better home isolation will more than offset installation costs.
