As we can see, even without the thumbs up/down vote, we’re still subject to opinions that contain only dislike and are void of any substance. But, since svelte had to type out his words, it’s clear to all that his post is meaningless, whereas with a thumbs down vote, we wouldn’t really know what he meant. We wouldn’t know whether he had a valid counterargument to my post or not. Now we can see that he doesn’t.
