Given that 9/11 happened on 9/11/2001, there weren’t any further terrorist attacks on US soil during the remainder of Bush’s terms, either. I’m sure that the math escapes you, but that means Bush actually accrued more time than Obama without incident.
Its also interesting to note that you’re crediting Obama with what, exactly? Continuing Dubya’s policies? Gitmo is still open, right? Rendition still going on under Obama? Yup. Patriot I and II continuing to erode our civil liberties during Obama’s tenure? Yeah. So, not only has Obama failed to make good on his campaign promises on these issues, he’s continuing policies that were started under Bush.
