Whatever. there’s pluses and minuses for everything… No company in their right mind would pay the equivalent as a contractor in today’s market in what my current company does already. Contractors are also not eligible for stock plans, deferred compensation, profit sharing, and the likes. I don’t care so much about base pay as I care about the rest of the compensation package, because as far as I’m concerned, base pay is that……It basically pays for the bills….
