the summary from the supernanny episode:
Lisa and Steve Daniels have six beautiful children ranging in age from 2 to 13. However, spitting, cursing, hitting, nasty threats and general misbehavior are commonplace among the kids. The kids are so out of control that the parents have given up on trying to manage them or teach them otherwise. Jo tells both parents that they’re lazy and need to grow up and be parents. The biggest showdown is between Lisa and Jo when Lisa refuses to follow through on a two-minute time out with her youngest.

real estate, finances are the least of their problems…schadenfreude, perhaps, but this is making me feel pretty good and proud of my own patch of existence. i am doing really well. in fact, i’d downright freaking cheerfullll
