So the key is to calculate what gets you more money, the cash back from your credit card or the interest you would get on your checking acct balance. Roughly, if you maxed the acct at 25k at 5% you are getting 1250 a year or 104 bucks a month. Now I am not sure what your tax rate is but take that off the top, then see if it is worth it for your cash back or not.
