So here’s a true story. My kid has this Chinese friend and her parents are totally paranoid about this virus. They are the ones before coming over , asking parents of they’ve been to China or if their kids have cold symptoms.
They went as far as not goinf to Mira Mesa because Mira Mesa had too many asians, and pulled their kids out of Chinese school. Their cars were full of masks and supplies , and when kid still had a left over cough from a cold , told their kid not to hang around my kid…. Ok fine.
Fast forward this week. Their kid came down with something and was running a 103F temperature on Monday. Kid doesn’t have flu shot. Ok fine. But get this. Yesterday, the kid still is running a fever, still is sick, and parents send her to school, like it’s no big deal. Their kid at school is about to pass out, and my kid was like WTF are you doing here in school, you’re going to get everyone else sick. Her parents don’t care.
Typical selfish, hypocritical Chinese.”Don’t bring your kids near my kid and I even if they aren’t sick anymore… But if my kid is sick, to the hell with you. I don’t want to pay extra for daycare and keep the kid at home”
