“Simply put, someone tell me a better place for toddlers and elementary school kids than Del Sur? Where they can walk outside, play together, and walk to school?”
My community right next to yours. We have parks that kids actually play in, a fabulous clubhouse and pool that people use, there are always people outside walking around, my son has one of his friends sleeping over tonite (they built a massive fort with blankets around me and I am cramped sideways on an arm chair right now) and my son rides his bike to his friends house each day, tehn they ride to school together. My daughter and I walk or ride our bikes to the school often also.
As for my point about friends relocating I was making the point that you are looking for a dream that you have no control over. Neighborhoods around here favor long time residents far more than an area like Del Sur. People will come and go out of that area at a higher rate. Staying in the general area and expanding your horizons/relationships seem sot have a much higher potential for that dream being realized than dropping yourself into a new community where no one feels any ties to the area.
