Just a few more questions for you on this post. Earlier in the thread you justified the location on the west side of RSF because its easier to make a right turn on such a busy road to serve the folks south. Now you say the LC station has increased areas to cover to the north. That necessitates the dreaded left turn you earlier argued against. So let me get this straight. Its OK for them to make a left turn to serve all of those folks but not those of us to the south. OK…that makes sense.
Then you say “Trust me, people who have far more knowledge than you and I about call volumes and zones have made this decision for reasons you and I don’t necessarily know.” So now you are saying dont question authority. They know better and are acting in your best interests not their own. Its ok to blindly trust them. Isnt that what got us here?
Yes, in case you missed it, a lot of new developments have been built in this area. They had to increase coverage in the NE in order to get better coverage. They still get most of their calls to the south, but they need to be better located so that response times to the north are within required limits — they couldn’t do that from their former location.
Again, if you have questions, ask the people who made these decisions…none of whom are “boots on the ground” firefighters.
