That is not accurate.
Most reps provide that.
If its offered equally to all agents then it is legal.
Its when you tie that service to use of their services that it becomes a respa kickback.
Feel free to ask CAR legal.
I know your broker is an attorney, but if he is saying that (and feel free to show him this thread and have him chime in by posting or emailing me) then he is inconsistent with the preponderance of legal opinion currently available.
