Who in the right mind would ask this RE looser for advice with respect to foreclosure?
I tend to believe now that the $300K lost in a business venture is nothing else than investing in more in housing speculation (I’m curious if there is a way to find out if her name is on other RE around town or other states).
I’d like to think that people out there are getting smarter/wiser with all these financial/economic problems. I woud think NOBODY will ask this RE looser for advice, yet Paris Hilton’s theory holds true (any kind of publicity will do…). Hence, I won’t hold my breath if she starts making money with her RE foreclosure business.
The more I contemplate this sickening act, I realize that the amount of true analytic folk, like the piggs, is indeed a fine minority in this country.[/quote]
I’d change the term “analytic folks” to a more broader base: “financially responsible and/or financially self-accountable” people. (I don’t consider everyone on this board to be financial gurus (inclusive)). But I think the common thread on this board is financial responsibility/accountability.
In general, I always knew that “financially responsible people and/or financially self-accountable” people were in the minority…BUT,I didn’t think it was that bad.
Banks deserve to eat this loss for being irresponsible. This person shouldn’t be marketing themself (when did being in foreclosure become being in vogue????????). In general, I’m pretty sympathetic when people loose their home because of unfortunate circumstances. But this one takes the cake.
You know what, I’ve been spending a lot more these days for personal enjoyment and tucking a lot more away for my kid..
I really don’t see a point of penny pinching as much anymore, since
(1) I don’t need to and
(2) the way things are, if it’s not on me, it’s going to other people should penny pinch but don’t
And frankly, every time I hear about these one of these things in the news, I’m pretty happy I’m about overpaying for a home that I live in, that spouse and kid can grow up in and enjoy…….. Better my family then some random stranger. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m worried about the economy a bit…But then again, if I go unemployed, the bright news is my taxes under Obama’s plan with a kid will go down significantly too)
