Scarlett, why don’t you or Rhett clock it by going out there before 7:00 am one morning and driving in taking SR-52?
I was wondering about this also but it would be interesting to see if it was 30 mins or less to the UCSD area, door to door. It very well might be if the Golden Triangle area can be navigated thru timely.
San Carlos is very well-established and NOT a fire-prone area. I haven’t looked at recent sold comps but $350 – $375K seems to be a good price for this property (barring any structural defects), considering it already has (likely $15-$20K) new windows and doors installed.
Why don’t you at least do a drive-by? You have nothing to lose besides a little gas by going out there this weekend :=)
