Scaredy
My son turned 13 today. I wanted to get him something that he couldnt plug in so we went shopping for a new bike. Walmart and Target were not on our itinerary. We went to the local non-chain bike shop. I know what I want so I got it for him instead.
I got him a Trek which I have pined over for decades. Some of it was made in the USA but we got a Greenfield kickstand just because it was definitely 100% made in a small town out on Long Island. I still ride the Rockhopper I bought for my dad when he retired 20 years ago with a front sprocket I bent at Watchung Reservation two weeks after I gave it to him. Why can I buy him the bike I always wanted while I ride an old bike with holes in my shoes?
He wakes up at 6:30 every morning. My alarm is set for 5:45 and I’m gonna take it out for a spin. Hopefully I wont bend his front sprocket too.
