Sandicor is not affected as they have been open to the online agents for some time.
The new policy controlling access to the actual MLS is a royal pain but necessary to protect our clients. Too many incompetent agents and mortgage brokers have passed out their user name/passwords to clients in the general public. Half of you folks probably have been able to get in.
The system has confidential remarks that are supposed to be visible to agents only and do not appear when the general public gets listing emailed to them or on the online Realtor sites Zip, Redfin etc.).
How would you feel if the confidential remarks saying something like “elderly owner is hard of hearing” resulted in you grandmother getting robbed or “no access between 1 and 3 pm due to young mother home alone with infant” resulted in your wife getting attacked.
I hate the system but it was needed to protect our clients from all the nut cases out there.
