Rt.66, it not American vs non-American. It’s all about branding. Why do people go out and buy an iPod vs a Samsung/LG/etc. mp3 players? Why do people use Windows vs Linux? Why do people buy a Mac/Dell/HP laptop vs an Asus/Acer/etc laptop? As I just demonstrate, many Americans are buying American when the American product has what they’re looking for. Branding has a lot to do with people desire as well. GM has killed their brand, so they need TIME to rebuild their brand. There are plenty of American made products that are excelling in the global market place.
