Regarding the jobs topic above. Since most of us Piggs, and many of us in CA in general are somewhere in the top 5% wrt net worth, we don’t feel the pain inflicted by the job losses many have and will continue to experience in certain fields.
Some might argue that policy precipitated the exodus in order to increase profits, but, whatever the cause(s) it’s clear that many will have to adapt in order to survive–and that could end up being true in many fields–with robots predicted to take over more jobs than ever–including white collar–going forward.
