Recorder’s offices are county, state offices are the ones doing the friday closures, the county offices in S.D. are still open as far as I know. They must have just closed that one permanently to save money and since it’s not far from PCH.

it says m-f, pch, san marcos and el cajon, they do list kearney mesa on another link but by appointment only and very limited sevices

so waiting till monday wont help much, kearney looks closed all the time.
