You don’t seem anti- kid to me but I Thought the idea of a partner ,especially a parental partner cheating was less of a stressor than having a kid was different from my imagination woudl have it. At least a kid is a mixed blessing, more to the positive obviously(to me). I would think that uneless it was kind of an open “marriage deal”,(which wouldn’t imply cheating) the other activity is liekle to be a longer lasting major disruption for a family that had high hopes for unity.
