Reading articles this morning… Looks like the cut wasn’t as clean as they wanted – so it will be harder to get a good fit on the cap.
The problem is that if too much water gets in – ice crystals will form – which is what happened with the “top hat” attempt. They need as tight a seal as possible.
It looks like the saw blade that got stuck may have hit some of the “junk” from the junk shot… I would imagine trying to saw through golf balls and shredded tires would not be good for the blade… especially in those temps.
I hope they can fit the cap on tight enough… I really want the flow slowed… but it doesn’t look good.
