Maybe you met a good salesperson who sized you up quickly and figured out it was not worth his time to have you trying to nickel and dime a fairly low margin vehicle.
Last time you wrote
“I forgot about the 3% holdback honda gives to dealers. Running through your numbers, and my number I get the dealer selling about $1032 above cost.
Damn, I knew I should have pushed for $100 lower. I didn’t beat my personal record.”
Maybe this sales person personal record is important to him and that means steering a person like you to the internet or fleet sales division and focusing on customers who will make him a commission.

That salesman needs to walk into a Acura or Lexus dealer and learn a thing or too. Last time ventured into an Lexus dealer test driving a GS with my pops (which I eventually talked him out of anyway :)), it was very evident to the salesguy that I was going be doing my research over the net anyway… Sales guy still spent time with me to do a test drive, which lasted like 15 mins and the showroom floor wasn’t nearly as empty as at the Ford dealer today. Plus, since these Fords don’t come with free service, I’d need to take it somewhere for serve. Evidently not at that dealership….It was *almost* as bad at a high volume Toyota dealership (those are the worst).
