Pizzaman, the problem is I don’t need a 3000+ sf house, so I want to see the smaller homes approach $100 a sf. In harveston, they might not get there, but I’d be happy if they get close and I did see a couple close to that yesterday.
I don’t like high tax rates, don’t know what it is in Harveston. Also, I don’t like high HOA, but the tradeoff is living in a lake community.
I like South Temecula too. I visited wolfcreek to look at the new homes, they were all too high right now. I’m sure you can get good deals on the bankowned, but I’m concerned about the casino.
Anyway, I have two boys who would enjoy the atmosphere on the lake. There were a lot of kids around, families, couples and dogs. I don’t like the layout of the homes with the alley driveways, so I wouldn’t be getting one of those. And it did feel congested on the streets with the teeny, tiny lots.
Like others have posted on here, there is an elitest attitude in there, so I was surprised that a couple of people had their garages open and they were filthy looking. I felt like saying, “Man, clean your garage!”
