Now Santa Fe NM is a whole different story. I COULD live there. That is one of my top small cities in America. That is a quaint, very attractive place that is NOT cookie cutter, generic and commercialized like San Diego. Santa Fe is one of my top U.S. cities for character along with:

-Charlottesville VA
-Boston MA
-Seattle WA
-San Francisco
-Boulder CO
-Madison WI
-Portsmouth NH
-Portland OR
-Austin TX (only the older neighborhoods of Austin)
