now im thinking though, maybe the problem is not the polcie presence, but that we need MORE police presence in schools. first, this would provide jobs. lots of them. i see one cop per three classrooms. patrolling regularly. then I’d like to see a little street justice dispensed for any disciplinary infraction to ensure absolute silence and order. finally, for better performance, I’d like to see the threat of violence. this type of regimen would help prepare stduents for real life, kind of liek those “how to balance a checkbook” classes. why not make classrooms much much much more orderly. it might not actually be a bad idea. absolute silence or GET OUT.
