Not being on a no-fly list doesn’t mean that you aren’t transporting or selling drugs. Apparently, using rental vehicles is pretty common.
What I noticed is that I didn’t get much cr@p when the rental was registered in the same state. Take an AZ rental to CA or vice-versa, and they go full-on ‘tard.
This being said, I agree that the stops are garbage, and the people (if you can call them that) working them are also mostly filth. I’m not grateful to them for “keeping us safe.” They fall into my “I wouldn’t take a p!ss on you if you were on fire” or “I wouldn’t call 911 if I saw you get hit by a speeding truck” category.
