Please make sure you don’t put words in my mouth. I never said “good with people”
In addition to creative, I said
“who knows how to get others to work hard”,
“to secure funding for a project”
“manage others ”
“social”
“friendly”
“persuasive”
“tactful”
Those are all specific skills you don’t learn by tucking yourself in a corner.
I used the term “creative” not in reference to a managerial position, but as a nod to positions that are design-related instead of implementation-related.
