It’s very interesting to me you bring this up. During my fellowship in LA I worked with an old GYN, former chair of the department that is also a Mormon. He actually knows Romney personally and he once made a very similar statement to the one you just wrote.
I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t get excited about him. Kind of the way I felt about Dole in ’96. I have a feeling the nominee is going to be someone who will suddenly come out of nowhere.[/quote]
Well honestly I think we all do what I described above to a certian extent… And he does seem to be very “on the ball” but I want to hold my president to a higher standard than myself…
I think Obama will get his second term the same way Bush Jr. got his… Better to go with the evil you know…
But I have a hard time with him being mormon because a large portion that I know believe the Rapture will happen at any momement AND I don’t want to see anyone “help” that along.
