my standard of living is potentially awesome but i cant seem to spend the money to get it. for instance, heating unit died.
can afford to replace it, but i save 5k a year in ac and heat costs, plus 15k for the unit. id rather wear long undies and a bathrobe, like pioneer days and get a 5k a year annuity. its been dead for a few years now. the yield on consuming less is irresistible to me. after tax benefit, being chilly or hot is paying about 25 perc. of. the mortgage!
i got my wife a little space heater from costco. i would be willing to pony up some dough for nanorobots to clear out my arteries though
