My sister is in a position where they could be relocating due to the company. They own their place. Company is going to subsidize the cost of the move so this has to enter into the equasion as to whether they want to buy something. Sometimes their wehn dealing with the company it is easier to buy. Additionally it provides an indication of stability and committment. While office politics should not enter the equasion it would be ridiculous not to recognise it exists.
