Import goods will be considerably more expensive. Short term, consumers will feel the pinch…Abroad, U.S. companies will benefit from the weak u.s. dollar, as goods/services are relatively cheaper. Middle term, this might spawn off more production of goods and services in the U.S., bringing back jobs and opportunities to the U.S.
Buy your BMW's, Audi's, Mercedes, and Porsches, while you can….Otherwise settle for what's produced here in the States.
(Although ironically BMW has a plant in North Carolina and Audi probably will be using the factories in Shanghai more )
