Most of the newly minted grand parents I see are in their late forties mid-fifties and just tired of dealing with babies (both the grown kind and the little ones) again, would like to live like their parents did when they left the house for a few years anyway, also retirement is being put off in a lot of these situations as the (grown) kids are not working and contributing but expect the new grand parents to carry the health insurance expenses, Car expenses food etc… The way they always did before.
Sometimes they are being hit from both sides, the older great grand parents (70’s to 90’s) need help and the kids and their kids all relaying of good old Dad and Mom.
Anyway in a lot of these situations I am talking about, there is at least little tension about.
yes I think in these cases above the Kids will be expected to Move on and get a place of their own and stuff of their own.
Besides tell me the truth, wouldn’t you like a room just for your stuff, your own hideaway??
But yea also you need at least a 4 car garage, two just for projects and two for your everyday cars.
