Most importantly, NOBODY is forcing Ms. Friedrichs to pay union dues. One would think that with 25 years of teaching experience, she could easily find a job in one of the many non-union private schools and charters (even some that are publicly funded!).
So…why has she waited 25 years to find a job in a school where there is no union and no union dues? Perhaps she wanted to be sure she qualified for her pension and healthcare benefits first? The ultimate hypocrite!
