Radar jammers and laser shifters however are not. If you don’t know the what these things are, never mind, and you don’t want to get caught using one (which would be detectable).
Frankly, these detectors have limited use imho. Also getting pulled over with a laser/radar detector (though legal) makes for interesting conversations with the police officer if you know what I mean. You’re better off not using one (or installing it in a inconspicuous place).
Dont like getting tickets, don’t drive above the speed limit or flow of traffic, don’t drive shotgun. Pace the car in front of you in the left lane and have a car behind you and let them eat the ticket. Speeding tickets going +10mph can cost you around $300+ these days.
