Yep, my friend who works there called me and said throughout the day, people were being told and escorted out. They had security stand around all over the place. He said they were cutting everyone from the big to the little fishes, folks in operations to senior management. I wouldn’t want to work in financial services right now![/quote]
Ah, yes. Reminds me of the glory days of the dotcom bubble collapse. One now-defunct dotcom forum (which will remain nameless) provided live blogging from inside offices where employees were escorted out of their cubicles by armed guards. “OMG, they are heading toward my cube…gotta go…”
