Screw the lakers (for now). Who’s watched the 24 Hours of Le Mans? The Peugeot diesels kicked the R15 ass, dethroning the 5 year reign which was a pretty big surprise (6+ laps)… Today is a sad day. On a side note, perhaps with all the disgruntled F1 teams, perhaps some of them will cross over to this league…
Oh never mind, we just watch Nascar and Indy here :)
flu, to be fair, one of the R15s did have a crash, and the other was taken out of commission as well. I’m glad Peugeot won though. Audi and the Corvettes deserve a lot of respect, but the races were getting boring when you knew the results ahead of time.
Too bad for the Astons; they look great in Gulf livery. Ferrari has been doing very well with the F430s too.
Finally, LOL at the one-lap-Lamborghini.
Wow, another Le Mans person…Cool. Yeah, I’m sort of glad that Peugeot got their act together, because it’s making this series more interesting.
Unfortunately, audi was only fielding the r15 in this race, so hopefully now they return to a regular season next year with this or something better…Kristensen was down an entire 7 laps at the end.
The Vettes always do well in the GT1 class. Porsche had a disappointing finish in GT3, most of those didn’t finish.
Hopefully with the fallout from F1, we’ll see the Le Mans series have more interesting entries from other manufacturers.
