Allan, hope I didn’t give the impression that was my car, or even someone I know. If it was, I wouldn’t be here!!! 🙂 I’d be out in Julian or somewhere driving the crap out of that thing. I’m honestly glad my daddy wasn’t that rich, or I wouldn’t be the honest, wholesome person I am now. 🙂

Mayer: One of our neighbors two houses down was a transatlantic 747 pilot for United and a total car freak (he also flew a P-51 in the Reno Air Races for fun). He owned a 429SCJ AC Cobra, as well as a GT5 Detomaso Pantera with a Ford 427 Side Oiler. I can still recall listening him pull that sucker out into the street on Sunday morning for a run up the 101 to wine country (we were on our way to church 🙁 which blew righteously).
