Maybe it was simpler for your parents. Mine were nervous ahead of their time our family motto was if you’re not nervous you don’t understand the situation. We grew up in less than 1000 sq ft one bath 4 people.
I’m probably less nervous than they were but it’s a close call. I think my wife would agree I get the slight edge in the less nervous award
