May I strongly recommend Harloff Automotive in La Mesa, on University near Helix HS? The owner / manager is Brad and they have worked on my father’s air and water cooled VWs for over 30 years. My dad’s ’78 Bus now has 350,000+ miles on the original engine and tranny, with just a few new clutches along the way. They do well the work you need and never do anything unnecessary. DHH
