Liberty, huh? Absent from any of the fascinating little bon mots on what is or is not Constitutional is the glaringly obvious issue of civil liberties.
We’re the most serious erosion of individual liberties in this country in decades and no one is taking issue with it. Going back to FISA in 1978 and through warrantless wire-tapping during Bush II, there is nearly complete silence on this topic.
