Of course you were brought up with closets and bathrooms as big (or bigger) than a typical bedroom in a beach community here! All situated on a very ample spread with plenty of parking and a matching brick mailbox at the curb, no doubt. That’s “middle-class life” in TX for you. My experience with Texans is that 95% percent of them never leave their beloved home state, even for college! If they end up stationed in the military somewhere else, they are promptly relocated back home upon retirement.
I think you guys/gals might just be “pioneering Texans!!”
