LOL, living on the east coast I driven through close to 17 states in a single day. I spent 3 months once driving cross country on back roads. There are only 3 or 4 states in the Continental US I havent driven through and I’m not talking about freeways.
IN SB kids can crawl to the beach from certain locales. Its on the ocean but yes I forgot you rarely get out. Funny how PL wasnt a beach community but suddenly it morphed into PL/OB to satisfy your warped views.
Not only does SB have ocean and lagoon views but it has amazing back country views and golf course views. Quite honestly I dont think there is any type of view you couldnt find in SB. If the OP is going to work in Sorrento Valley the drive to work in Morning rush hour traffic is less than 10 minutes on the freeway. It could easily be 15 minutes door to door. SB is on the southern end of the heavy traffic and it breaks up after Via De La Valle heading south at 50mph or more even during morning rush hour 90%+ of the time. Have you ever taken the drive? Have you taken a drive down Rosecrans lately?
As for schools, My kids are in the same school district and I know hundreds of people with kids in them. It is common knowledge they are the best by any measure you choose. Pick one, they all work.
I currently own 3 investment properties that I own and manage. I am in the process of buying another right now and will be buying another shortly thereafter.
I add plenty of constructive advice here every day. It is neither biased nor slanted unlike yours. More importantly your is flat out wrong more often than not. That is why I call you on the carpet.
