Kill 3 birds with one stone: make fatter Americans pick the strawberries. They lose weight with all that labor, which in turn reduces the cost of medical care (another hot topic in itself). Of course, we also get our strawberries. We can even market this as a new diet plan, so fat people can pay us to let them work in our fields! Then once the illegals see that the fatties have taken over, they’ll stop coming (because they won’t have jobs). Thus:

2. Strawberries are picked
3. Illegals are reduced
