Sorry sorry to hear about this. Especially when it happens to be a TT. Like others have said, you are very lucky you aren’t hurt badly. Score 1 for audi safety. For a 2001 Audi TT with the 225hp motor, you’re probably looking at about $15k payout, give or take $2k. If you’ve done any recent repairs, take those receipts with you.
Is your car pretty much stock, or did you put any aftermarket upgrades? If you have any upgrades, custom sound system, larger turbo/engine upgrades/etc, now would probably be a good time to take those out before your car gets totalled.
As far as your next car..Not so sure about the Camaro…I’d prefer to wait and get a 2011 mustang 5.0 when they come out. The jury is still out on Camaro reliability (not enough data) whileas Mustangs have been though a few years of iteration.
412 hp/ 26mpg highway…Probably better gas mileage than your tt….
Audi reliability has taken a turn for the worse in the more recent models. Bimmers aren’t fairing much better either, nor are Mercedes, or anything german for that matter.
