Canada does not provide healthcare. It has federally mandated and run health insurance, which is partially funded by each province. Some with direct payments of premiums, some with other fees and taxes. Unlike our VA hospitals, it is NOT socialized medicine. Doctors do not work for the government. The UK is socialized medicine. Not Canada.
