I strongly believe if circumstances in one’s life has forced someone to go on welfare, then the money should not be handed to them. There should be some government work programs. God only knows the government can find some job to keep them busy and have them earn the money somehow, getting job experience also. Or alternatively, force them to take some class or training program so at least they can help themselves.
Why does the government continue to enable them? Why can’t we teach them to fish instead of feeding them?
