I disagree with this. Like she supported TPP, then Bernie came and now she doesn’t support it. From everything I have read/seen, the Clinton’s has historically been free-traders. There is nothing wrong about that, but
Also, in terms of policy, pretty much anything proposed isn’t new or mostly, there are loopholes to actually fail to get them implemented since some won’t balance, would raise taxes, etc etc etc…
Can you name anything of significance Hillary did as Secretary of state? I see that question asked from Hillary supporting media and nothing comes up.
Also, as a NON Trump voter (I won’t vote for him), I just think people should also own up that Hillary is also a terrible candidate and distrusted and hated by many as well.
Another comment I hate about her is, she stated that if she was elected President, she will change/shutdown her foundation to foreign money.
If there was a hint of shadiness there now, why not just shut the damn thing down already? That’s been asked by left leaning media as well. Why wait till she is president?
Overall, both candidates are bad IMO…Hillary is no better IMO than Trump and I’d be glad if both leave the campaign honestly.
You even have strong democrats who have trouble commenting positively when asked about her untrustworthiness (Congress lady, forgot who)…
It’s a game.
You can disagree all you like, but nothing you said here is the least bit responsive to anything I said.
Clinton’s policy on the TPP has changed. As has her position on a number of other things. If she reverses course after she’s elected, there is little chance she’ll be elected to a 2nd term. (See GHWB’s “read my lips, no new taxes.)
She’s running on her current policies. Some of them are rehashing old ones, but since none of them have been reduced to legislation, complaining that there will be loop holes (whatever that means) requires an overdose of cynicism. Reaganism at work.
I could probably name half a dozen of her accomplishments without spending much time on it, and I’m not even a huge supporter. She wrote the Iran sanctions that made them come to the table. Well before she was sec of state, her “women’s rights” speech in China, as well as being an outspoken advocate for women during her SOS tenure. Helping to negotiate the cease fire in Gaza. She oversaw the largest increase in trade with a foreign country ever, with Chinese trade increasing more than 50% during her tenure as SOS. The creation of the Global Hunger and Food Security initiative. And probably most importantly, rebuilt the severely damaged US reputation among our allies.
The Clinton Foundation is not being shut down when she’s elected because there is anything shady. It’s being shut down because it’s inappropriate for the spouse of the President to be soliciting contributions from foreign governments. Just as it’s inappropriate for the spouse of a SOS to solicit gifts from foreign governments. Which is why there were no foreign gifts solicited while Clinton was SOS. If you have a problem with a charity with the highest ratings from those that rate charitable organizations, and one that has funded more AIDS and malaria treatments over the last 5 years than all others combined, then you’re probably impossible to please.
Anyone who really thinks they’re equally bad is either not paying attention, a racist, or a moron. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and accept that you may be the former.
