You’re right. I can’t stand the people here. Especially the self-important yo-yos who have to brag about how many homes they have. They are very materialistic and care for not much else beyond their possessions, vacations, trips to the spa and how much they make. Very shallow, like in Palo Alto where I used to live.
The nastiest people I have encountered as strangers are in New York City. I’ve never seen such ill-tempered, mean, cynical people in my life. I was there for several hours and could not wait to leave.
