When we did our companion unit we didn’t have to do a title report.
Is this for getting a cash out refi or heloc -to pay for the remodel? Or is the permitting agency requiring it? If so… why?
We purchased from family – and used a title/escrow company for the paperwork. They have pretty standard fees. Google some title companies and call around.
