Good for you. Pilkington is the defacto one used on most German cars. PPG or Pilkington, you can’t go wrong. Labor is what costs more…You’re lucky you broke your windshield and not a side window, rear window, or quarter glass. That small quarter glass in the rear of a 4 door usually costs more to replace than a windshield, even though it looks like a tiny glass.
