That is a great bottle of wine not a decent bottle of wine. There are lots of decent wines out there for under $30 and many between $10 and $20. There are some but very few under $10 (New Zealand Sauv Blancs come to mind). The last two vintages (2010 and 2011) were devastating for most US vineyards because of cold/rainy Summer/Early Fall seasons. I just got back from a trip to Lompoc to taste a bunch of 2010 wines and they were decent but nothing really stood out with the exception of a Jaffurs 2010 Viognier. Value wine drinkers are probably going to have to pay more or drink lower quality wines for a few years if they dont have a nice cellar stash.
