It is always normal for first time buyers to be anxious no matter what, when or how they are buying. I still remember buying my first home in Encinitas back in 1997. It was just after the market had bottomed and started to climb. I paid about 190K for a 4/2.5 1600 sq ft townhome w/ 2 car garage. I felt like I must be the biggest sucker in the world at the time. Looking back I (and you are probably also) laugh at how nervous I was. By the 3rd time around those feelings seem to fade and you are able to make purely logical decisions with far less emotional distress about it.
